Ooh man, I was all ready to publish a very different article and then some errata came in and boy am I excited! Honestly, this round of spoilers was pretty disappointing:
Izanagi is way too expensive to matter, and makes less impact than Yamata when cheating it in.
There are possible applications in a midrange or control deck which seeks to gain a slow advantage over it's opponent by playing each card to gain value over your opponent. It is also very unique that you can remove the opponent's regalia from the game with this card as well as resonators. You can also use any abilities you might have like Laevateinn to banish Izanagi in response to his first Automatic ability, causing him to try to return the cards before they were ever removed, and then his first ability will remove the cards permanently. However, I don't know how often we will want to pay 6 mana to remove 3 cards and then not get a 2000/2000 resonator. But only time will tell.

As for izanami, I didn't like this card, but then the errata was announced.
"{DDD2}, remove this card in your graveyard from the game: Destroy target resonator.
{DM}, remove this card in your graveyard from the game: Your opponent discards a card."
Izanami is now exciting and powerful. Before the errata, she cost WAY too much will to get a decent effect off of and was going into the same pile of junk that Izanagi was going into. But the fact that she can use the abilities while not on the field, but in the grave, makes her so much better.
Any card that gives you the effect of a card without costing you one is a huge deal, and that's exactly what she does. 2-for-1's like Spiral of Despair and Cheshire Cat are one type of this effect but we haven't really seen an effect like this before: a 1-for-0. You expend no resources (besides will) to get a relevant effect. If you discard her to Soulhunt or Guinevere it's almost always better than casting her because you got the full effect of your discard effect without the normal cost of discarding a card. Even casting her is good. 6/6 for 2 is totally respectable, though a little under where she'd ideally be, but that's fine when she has post-death effect(s). The final thing to point out that makes her powerful is the fact that her discard effect is instant speed. You can activate it on the opponent's draw step to blank their draw, which is hugely better than sorcery speed discard. Overall she's spectacular and I want to play her. (Though I'll probably be uncomfortable playing a deck with her in public due to the art.)
Silencing Spell has to go on the opponent's resonators and isn't even high impact so it's highly interruptible and not very powerful.
Knight's Shadow is great in a Shadow deck but that's about it, and Shadows are sub-par right now anyways.
The only card I was excited about was Izanami's Curse, which is a great late-game removal spell but bad early game, so we'll have to wait and see how good it'll be.

Moonlit Savior Spoilers! Check it out below!
Angel of Wisdom, Cherudim
If this card were plopped into the current meta, it would suddenly make white playable. The best resonators in the game right now are lance/gherta nya/yog and gwiber and this dork kills 4/5 of them. Coming with a 7/7 flying body is pretty sweet too. Sure white is played now, but only as a splash for perceval or gwiber. This angel would be a huge buff to Arla strategies which are nearly tier 1 to begin with because of the power of bow. However, if you don't get value his body is only average to disappointing and if the upcoming meta isn't so darkness/fire dominated I see him competing with TAT Grimm for a sideboard slot at best.
Crescent Moon Magician
I am reluctant to pay greater than 2 wills for my resonators as a rule so I'm withholding judgment on this one. Very similar to Cherudim, this card has a great body (4/8) and awesome value when you actually get the 2-for-1 (and even better if you're using apollo will to awaken her), but really isn't very exciting without the value. This is slightly more likely to make the main, as Wererabbit is looking to be a more relevant type than Angel in the upcoming set, but Moon Magician and Cherudim are really, really similar cards.
Luna Ibis
I find this one really hard to evaluate. Once again we see a mediocre but acceptable body attached to a situational effect.
It is unclear to me how frequently recovering your resonator will be relevant enough to justify 2 of your wills but, when an effect like that is nearly free by being stapled to a 5/5 flier, I am optimistic about it. While the other two light resonators we looked at look very comfortable slotting into and playing roles in the current resonator metagame, this one seems like it needs a bit of a shake-up to make its effect relevant.

Holy Moon of Pure Nights
This card is a trap. A huge trap for players to fall into thinking resting a J-Ruler is good. If you look at the card as a whole, you just paid 3LM to rest a J-Ruler. In some match-ups, your opponent may be unable to beat this, but those styles of decks are not only dying out in the metagame, but also have answers to this card between their main and side already (valentina's zealot and the queen's butler, I'm looking at you).
The buff side of this card is essentially irrelevant if that's all the card does, as is shown by other Addition: Fields of its ilk falling into irrelevance if they can't meaningfully interact with the board.

Tsukuyomi Noble
The pièce de résistance of this spoiler set is the biggest reason I'm gaining faith that Light will no longer be the worst Attribute in Force of Will. Already it's got the stats you want for LL (5/7) or LLM (7/9) and it's all upside from there. While the effect that stops activated abilities appears symmetric, you just have to look a line up and see that she herself is a moon to make you immune to the effect. This type line also matters for cards like Kaguya 3.0 and Knight of the Solstice which just get more upside by having the Noble in your deck. And oh man, if you thought she was good as an ability-hoser 7/9 for LLM (which she probably is), just wait until she's also a Blessed Holy Wolf, blowing up your opponent's Robe of the Fire Rat or Barrier of Shadows. This card is great with or without Apollo and I think we can expect it to be a staple of the next set's New Frontiers.
Overall these spoilers scream to me, "play Barrier of Shadows, please!". All these crazy good bodies with Awakening on them just make Apollo that much more powerful and I can easily imagine just getting run over by double-Apollo draws from my opponent when I don't cast Barrier ASAP. Even after you cast it, though, they'll have their Nobles to blow up your Addition and unlock their Apollos to wreak havok on your tempo. We have seen how powerful fast "mana" has been in other card games and I think it will be no different in this one. Primogenitor will be a sideboard staple and Barrier will be a maindeck staple. And Tsukuyomi Noble will still be great.

Yggdrasil the World Tree
Best Control ruler yet?
Maybe, maybe not! Let's take
a look and analyze our new
One-sided Ruler: Yggdrasil the World Tree!
Every control player is in heaven right now! These cards are absolutely insane and not just for the reasons that are being put in front of us. Let's discuss.
Yggdrasil, the World Tree
Time on Fire: Timeline Arsonist, Alisaris
Alisaris was spoiled today,
along with a few goodies to help
us use him. Let's take a look!
The Observer
The Observer, simply named but wildly complicated to do Judgment. At first glance this card might look incredibly unplayable. Maybe he's not the best ruler, he has no abilities on this side. But he is incredibly interesting, and when we do judgment we will be rewarded greatly.
Some of the other spoilers will help us flip Observer more quickly, but we also have some other cards already which will give us a better chance at flipping him: Fetal Movement in Outerworld and Ouroboros, the Snake of Reincarnation are two of these cards. We'll discuss more in a few minutes. Let's see what our reward is if we manage to flip The Observer. But first lets look at this...
Blazing Metropolis, Vell-Savaria
The Blazing Metropolis is basically a Necronomicon for our Fire [Spell:Chant] and Fire [Spell:Chant-Instant] cards. It's good for that late game finish with a burn strategy. And don't forget it also let's us play Flame of Outer World again. If played early enough it will let us flip our ruler sooner if we're using Alisaris. We can play the Metropolis to finish an opponent off with thunders and other burn spells or we can use it to cast some extra removal to help support our resonators.
Now usually I discuss the J-ruler first, but I felt like I should talk about Blazing Metropolis first. Here's why:
Timeline Arsonist, Alisaris
So when you flip Alisaris you
will first get to search for Blazing Metropolis if you chose to run it. It's not a bad card and is certainly worth considering as a one-of in my opinion, if you're using a lot of spell cards. Either way, your reward for flipping Observer is absolutely worth the trouble, as long as all of the ways to reduce his cost are playable by themselves without sacrificing card quality.
"Swiftness, Target Attack and "First Strike" will allow our resonators to be completely superior. And our God's Art [Total Recall] is absolutely worth it. A one-sided board wipe for 4 wills, this is so far the best board wipe in the game right now because we most likely had at least 10 cards removed before we even thought of flipping him. luckily the Force of Will sprites have gifted us a few choices of cards to work with him.
Vell-Savarian Dragon
Vell-Savarian Dragon is among the strongest flyers we have at 2 wills, so it's definitely not unplayable. If your strategy doesn't involve removing your cards from the game then that's just a drawback, and in that case you'd be better off playing Clockwork Scout Plane.
Reasons to play this include The Observer, Flame Dragon Commandant, Sylvia's Roar, Songstress of Shangri-La (to get rid of a card on top if we don't want it there) and the next card we'll discuss: The next new Regalia.
Orb of Disaster, Ifrit Glass
We needed more 0 cost regalia that aren't strictly to enhance ruler-based strategies.
Ifrit Glass is to The Observer as Interdimensional Vessel, Apollo is to Kaguya 3.0 - Not completely useless without their respective rulers, but much, more more desirable with them than without.
The best use of Orb of Disaster, Ifrit Glass is to have the option of getting back any card we desire that we've already removed from the game. No [Imperishable] on this guy, no pumps. It begs the question: Is this card going to be so powerful that it really didn't need any other abilities in order for them to consider this a powerful as other Regalia? We can certainly use this with Vell-Savarian Dragon, that's not terrible. It's ideal to use this with the Observer because we can grab two cards instead of one. But is it worth it? Time will tell!! Now on to our final spoiler this week:
Disaster's Memoria
I'm sorry if it sounds like I've been hittin' the haterade but at least they got the name of this card right because it is an absolute disaster. We are already looking at some sub-par cards for fire in this set (not complaining, it's been on top a long time) but the self-mill strategy isn't paying off. These ruler-specific-or-else-it-comes-in-rested Stones are truly the worst stones we've ever seen mechanically. They are super restrictive. We never call a stone when we don't need a stone in play. We're making ourselves more susceptible to Split Heaven and Earth if we play these types of stones over a basic just for the ability it grants us, and this ability isn't worth it. This card would have been good with Shion's Ruler side or just Cheshire Cat even, but it will always be useless in decks without The Observer. I guess the best thing we can do is put Cheshire Cats in our Observer decks.
The best cards to play with Observer (in my opinion)
- Blazer, Eater of Dimensions - Whenever we play a card it'll automatically get removed, and if our other effects remove Blazer, we can recast him.
- Liberate the World - Let's us look at the top three cards of our main deck and put one of them into our hand and remove the rest from the game face down. This is a card that gives us card quality but not card advantage, but now this is giving us a bit of card advantage as well if we use it along with Ifrit Glass and Blazer, Eater of Dimensions.
- Black Goat - Not game-breaking at all but worth mentioning that black goat can burn our opponent, pop a shield from Protection of Faeries or finish off a resonator and then reduce our Ruler's Judgment by 1 as well.
- Arthur, the Dead Lord of Vengeance - Remove three resonators in your graveyard from the game: Put this card from your graveyard into your hand. This is potentially effective in reducing our Judgment and giving us a new Archetype we can build around The Observer.
- Deathscythe, the Life Reaper - Deathscythe can also remove three cards from our graveyard to return itself to our hand. Little known fact: You can pay to activate Deathscythe or Arthur's "Remove 3 cards in our graveyard" as many times as you have cards to remove. So if you have 9 cards in your graveyard besides Deathscythe, you could remove all of them before allowing it's ability to resolve from the chase: putting the scythe into your hand.
- Fetal Movement in Outerworld - This is probably my favorite and most efficient way to remove up to 12 cards in your graveyard from the game. For 2 wills you can remove any number of cards and you may get to deal a little damage as well.
- Ouroboros, the Snake of Reincarnation - This seems obvious, but don't get blown out when you try to cast him. Kaguya 3.0's "Cancel Target Automatic ability can cancel Ouroboros' Enter trigger: "When this card enters your field, remove all cards in your main deck from the game. Then shuffle all magic stones from your graveyard into your magic stone deck and shuffle all other cards from your graveyard into your main deck."... Doesn't sound fun to have this strategy fail. Even worse, if they play it right, you'll get milled to death before you can kill them with this. It's a powerful strategy, but a very slow and dangerous one.
- Necronomicon - This seems a little too obvious and way too slow for the format right now, but it's not unplayable. This is a fine strategy against control and midrange opponents and is proven to be effective against the slower decks in the format like Sylvia control.
- Sacred Princess of Guidance // Lumia, the Creator of Hope - This one will be a shock to see here. My logic is that she can function with similar strategies as The Observer. Obviously she is not able to be played with him, but due to similarities in their strategies we can play her in the sideboard if our deck allows it. They are both good with things like Necronomicon or other things we can use to remove cards from the game like our new dragon friend or the new Regalia. Try it out, see if it works!
- Laplacia, the Demon of Fate - "Tap: Put the top card of your main deck and the top card of your opponent's main deck into their owner's graveyard" - The cool thing here is this guy works with Shion and Observer. With Shion he puts the top cards we don't want to draw into the graveyard. For Observer he fills our graveyard to give us fuel to remove with Fetal Movement of Outer World and Deathscythe.
That's all for me on the Observer. There are a bunch of other cool cards you can use to fill up your graveyard by discarding, Incarnating, or milling one or both of your decks. I'm confident you'll think of everything, and the community pros will break this card if it is breakable! We look forward to looking at more spoilers with you. Thanks again for reading! Previous spoilers are below as always!

Songstress//Shion
This is pretty cut and dry. This doesn't gain us any draw advantage. It doesn't look good at first "glimpse"! (pun intended, deal with it.)
But I think with Shion, there's "more than meets the eye"! (Okay, we're a little late to that joke)
Alright, no more puns, probably. I'm sure Shion find a home with some cards like Humpty Dumpty or the other cards that are designed with her, we'll discuss those below.
Let's take a look at her other side and see what else we can do.

At least this side still let's us look at our top card.
So we get to put a resonator with cost 5 or less into our field for free OR put a non-resonator card into our hand! That's pretty sweet. Some people's reactions are a little less than favorable, but this resonator can't be cancelled. The only way to cancel this ability is with Kaguya 3.0's J-ruler ability.
What are some cards can we put into play to get value off of her?
Here's 10 interesting choices:

What are some cards can we put into play to get value off of her?
Here's 10 interesting choices:
- ALL of the 'Six Sages' will enter and trigger their automatic abilities (Not their [Enter] abilities), giving all of the other sages in your field a counter, okay this makes it more than 10 cards in this list technically, but you get the idea.
- Purplemist, the Fantasy Dragon - Self Explanatory, I think?
- Mephistopheles, the Abyssal Tyrant - This classic powerhouse is awesome but it's serious feel-bads when your opponent Xeex's it. Don't get Xeex'd. Be like Shion.
- Louis XIV - If you're playing some cool light/water deck with light resonators/white weenie archetpye this card could have a huge impact on the board for only 3 wills.
- Darwin - Same thing as Louis XIV but for wind resonators, and the pump is more effective, but you need six stones in your stone area.
- Celestial Wing Seraph - This card speaks for itself. You're paying 3 wills to get a 1000/1000 and an 800/800 flying angel into your field. Hmm..
- Arthur Pendragon, King of the Round Table - Nice.. Turn 2 Arthur possible again! Turn 1 Elvish Priest, Turn 2 flip Shion. (if Arthur is on top)
- Arthur, the Dead Lord of Vengeance - This card is a fine answer against swarm decks like Alice's world and faeries. He's not bad against control either because you can bring him back to your hand multiple times per game. Putting him into your field for 3 isnt much difference from 4 but we all know one turn earlier can make all the difference.
- Phoenix, the Flame of the World - One-sided 'board wipe' against weenie decks (also combos with Arthur, the Dead Lord, technically, but that's far fetched.) Phoenix can also be good to use after your combats have resolved to finish off enemy resonators.
- I'm torn between Blazer, the Eater of Dimensions and Mephistopheles, the Abyssal Tyrant being the most powerful finishers to bring in with Shion. These are both great threats to sneak in with Shion's automatic ability, it just depends on the deck and the attributes you're playing.
Shion's "Reducer" (The cycle of cards that reduce their respective Rulers' God's Art costs)
This is one of the worst cards spoiled for a while. It's got "Value" in the way you could gain a resonator and get an opponent's resonator off the field at the same time, but as a 3 will [Spell: Chant] it's just simply still too slow to be really serious advantage. Reducing our God's art makes this at most a 1 of in a deck using Shion, that wouldn't be too bad, but it's very situational, and you'll learn that the more situational something is, the more I hate it. That doesn't mean it's bad, obviously I could be wrong either way.
This Drill Sergeant would probably be way better if it costs 2 Water Will, but blue doesn't have a whole lot of pumps besides Shangri-La. This might find a home in Valentina 1.0's Shangri-La deck, and I suppose it's possible Shion has a deck for this type of "Water Swarm" Archetype, and it might even be a little better than V1.0.
I don't know what I could say about Mist, Celestial of Music to give it justice. This is probably one of the best Resonators in the game, period. It's so insanely good that this card ruins almost every removal strategy in the game. Cards like Refarth, the Castle in Heaven, Rapid Growth, Evolution of Limits, Shangri-La, the Paradise on the Ocean, basically anything that pumps up our resonators is going to be that much better.
Heed my warning when I tell you that the Muse will be one of the key pieces of the meta and it will see a ton of play. It's got efficient stats and cost, it's abilities are insanely powerful. And not coincidentally, it's a Myth like Susanowo. Also, she'd be great in Alice's World because of the cool unique Resonator type and the ability to possibly draw you another card to replace itself. Pretty amazing, right? Keep an eye out for this 2-will-bomb.
I don't have a whole lot to say about this one. Hymnal's Memoria certainly is Shion's Memoria. Having this enter rested is never worth playing it with other rulers, and it's enter the field trigger will be best with Shion since you can see the top card of your main deck. This card is good with mono-blue shion. It might be decent in a two color deck with Shion as well, but one thing is for sure: This magical little record player is definitely property of Shion and basically not playable with any other ruler.
As a 1 will 300/300 water resonator and a human, the Musician of Shangri-La seems decent. His ability is a double-edged sword that you really need to build your deck around. We need to have a resonator on top of our main deck basically all the time for this guy to be useful. I'm interested to see how this guy does in aggressive decks like the old Valentina 1.0 Shangri-La deck, which could be played with Shion as well. Cheshire Cat is a clear must-have if you're playing with this or the Drill Sergeant.
Finally, Shion's Regalia! I love this card. Being able to filter your top card to the bottom is useful with Cheshire Cat and with Shion. If an opponent ever puts a resonator on top of your main deck with something like Apollobreak, the Moon Blast or Shion's Hymn, you could put it on bottom if you didn't want to draw it again. You can use the 2nd ability to Search for any card and put it on top of your main deck, which also lets you shuffle away unwanted cards, simultaneously getting any card you want for your next draw.
To add to the excitement of searching for any card, you can also discard a Hydromonica to itself to draw a card (Just like Gleipner). This creates an interesting scenario where you can draw the card you searched for right away, but it's tricky. Step 1, you will discard another "Heavenly Instrument, Hydromonic" placing the draw effect onto the chase. Step 2, pay the 2 and banish the hydromonica in play before the draw resolves, then placing the card you want to draw on top of your main deck. Now when the draw effect resolves: you draw that card right away. It could be a little confusing and is very situational, but it works. If you do it out of order then you won't have a Hydromonica in play to discard to obviously, so you will need to draw it a different way.
I can't say this card will be insanely overpowering or even easy to maneuver around all of the hyper-aggressive strategies we've seen in Force of Will so far, but it does have a lot of very elegant and tricky applications, and it will definitely see play.
Well that's all for this week. Agree or disagree? Thank you for reading! Please Like, Share and comment on our Facebook @ Grimmtale.com!
Remember last week I wrote an article about Magic Stone of Moon Shade and Magic Stone of Moon Light's likeliness to spike in price. This about clinches it. We see that 2 of our new rulers already use moon will abilities, and I suspect others will as well.
Not only that, but Gill Lapis looks incredibly useful! All regalia's your opponent use automatically cost 1 more to play. If this card doesn't completely destroy a regalia, we're also in the right color to use Barrier of Shadows. This card is excellent already. I wonder what is on the other side!
Holy wall of text, Gill Lapis! And I thought Kaguya needed to calm down. This guy has a built-in Glimpse of Kaguya for the cost of 1 Moon will, and built-in removal. When he enters, he gets to search for "Pitch Black Moon" and put it directly into your field. We'll discuss that card next!
The God's Art looks incredible, too. Steal a Resonator, a Regalia, and/or an [Addition:Field] from your opponent's deck and put them into your field (under your control) Take that in for a moment, then realize you can activate it at instant speed.
The thing to remember in mirror matches here is that your opponent can pay 1 moon will to cancel any God's Art, or to cancel Lapis' cancel ability.
1 Moon will to cancel any God's art or Regalia ability.........
*Shudders*.... Now let's check out that Pitch Black Moon.
I'm not convinced Pitch Black Moon is insane yet, but I like it a lot. They should've made this rare so I could get Stamps of it though. Right?
Let's look at this card seriously for a minute. We're going to use Gill Lapis in a Darkness/Fire Agro deck, most likely. We're able to discard irrelevant resonators to keep playing Lancelot or whatever other resonator we need depending on the situation. This will also allow us to play 'flames of outer world' and easily stop our opponent from thwarting our plans with regalia based decks or god's arts. We can use Gill Lapis' -200/-200 ability to win battles against identical resonators and we can cancel the abilities of Reflect/Refrain for 1 moon will (as well as anything else that's relevant to us)
Okay, I really, REALLY like this card with Primogenitor!
Alright, at first I didn't like this card, but I got to thinking: It works well with Kaguya, Moonlit Savior and with the Primogenitor Agro deck we discussed above. It let's you add 2 resonators to your hand at instant speed which can be incredible against control decks. You're basically always drawing 2 Lancelots off of this, if you have 2 Lancelot in your graveyard, you can discard the Darkness resonator you searched for to Pitch Black Moon, and then get back another Lancelot from the Grave.
Regalia And Resonator removal!
Okay, Stoning to Death is now ALMOST obsolete. Plus this card comes stamped, and with Gill Lapis, this can destroy a Regalia and a Resonator at the same time.
The only reason Stoning to Death is still technically better than this card is because this card is not an Instant, so it can't help you stop a Swiftness resonator. Marybelle is better than this at Regalia removal in one way: you can activate her at instant speed. Unfortunately your opponent can destroy Marybelle before they play their regalia. Cards like this help slow down the format by forcing the opponent to play around more cards and think ahead, so be careful. I still think the Instant-speed counterparts are more effective, but Space-Time Collapse is more versatile.
While I want to say this card is completely unplayable, I'm not convinced yet. She might be effective in slowing down agro's early game and helping you gain an early edge against the aggressive decks. She might be just what control needs to gain early tempo. I am on the fence but leaning towards complete garbage.
This card is my main premise for thinking every new ruler is going to use Moon Will. We're most likely going to see a moon-dual stone for every attribute. Very useful for our new moon-wielding rulers. This also makes Kaguya 3.0 turn this stone into a Wind/Darkness dual stone!
This Regalia is only really useful if we're using Gill Lapis, but I think it's almost necessary with the Primogenitor. We're getting extra wills to Judgement and use our God's Art.
We're getting extra moon will to use for countering opponent's Activate abilities and we're able to flip back to the Ruler Side at instant-speed to either slow down multiple regalia that just entered the field (maybe making our opponent's Regalia all cost 1 more is better for our plan than having to pay to cancel them. This really depends on math)
In addition to making our opponent's Regalia cost more, suddenly, it can also save our Ruler from certain death. Probably not the best Regalia overall, but certainly worth the slots in any deck running The Primogenitor.
Thanks for reading again and please check back every day as we're constantly updating our site! If you enjoyed this article, please share it on facebook or other Social media! Thanks! :D
Moonlit Savior Spoilers: Kaguya and Cookies
- By James Johnson 01/19/2016
The third expansion of Alice Cluster is here!
Moonlit Savior has some of the coolest cards already and it's only the first day of spoilers! First up is our new ruler: Friend from Another World, Kaguya//Kaguya the Moonlit Savior!
Well, that's interesting. So Magic Stone of Moon Light becomes an actual playable card? Well, let's see what the flip side does before we judge if this is any use.
|
Whoa!! Calm down there, Kaguya of Way-too-much-text! (Kinda reminds me of Artemis, the God's Bow)
Let's see, My moon-will fixing works on both sides? Check!
Can protect itself from damage? Check!
Can cancel "Triggered Abilities" (We call them Automatic Abilities, such as "When this card enters the field, or "When this card attacks") This card can cancel Lancelot's "700 damage to target resonator" ability for only 1 moon will! I'm looking at you, Valentina and Sylvia! ;)
Wait, did I mention she is the first card to get actual "+100/+100" counters? Amazing... I'm literally drooling. But that's probably because I can see cookies from where I'm sitting..
Kaguya's God's Art looks pretty sick.. Rest all your opponent's resonators? Seems really good. OH WAIT IT RESOLVES AND THEN IT'S FREE?!?!?! For 5 wills she taps all your opponent's dudes and then you get to untap all your magic stones?! What?!? And she doesn't even die to 1x Flames of Outer World!
Calm Down Kaguya!

Next let's take a look at a few of the new common/uncommon spoilers!
KAGUYA I SAID CALM DOWN!!!!
Here's an insanely useful tempo card, whether you're playing Kaguya or not.
The cool thing is, though, you can use this card's bonus second mode with ANY j/ruler with the word "Kaguya" in it's name! Pretty awesome that this replaces itself and helps slow down rush decks or let you attack something without needing target attack.

Another one-casting light instant spell? I'll take it!
This card seems like a cheesy counter to thunder or something, but the awakening actually makes this card seem pretty insane! I'm not sure this is a trap, but it might be a trap. The awakening cost is a moon-will, so be wary that this card isn't as good as it seems.
Okay, let's see what happens next.
Okay, a light wererabbit... I guess that's okay.
Wait, she costs 3 wills? Come on guys, we know 3 will cards aren't playable. Alright, maybe her ability will be good since she's only a 700/700 (yes, only: for 1 more will I get a 1500/1500 that hurts my opponent when it's targeted AND flies.)
Well, you get to search for a moon and put it.. into your hand? If this is even relevant, just play Campanella, right? The difference here is that Knight of the Solstice is actually going to allow us to search for a moon of any attribute, so we're hoping our new moons are going to be both different attributes AND much more useful. LET'S ROLL THE DICE FORCE OF WILL! Daddy needs a new pair of moons! -_- ....Why is this a Rare?
Probably because it'll look cool stamped.
Holy mother of calm the @!$^ down Kaguya!
This card is good. This card is good. This card is gooooooooooood.
You can't attack it and it's an elvish priest if you're playing Kaguya. And now we have 12 will producers that cost 1 will. Do stuff with that, community. Just for the love of Kaguya do something with that.
BANZAI!
Next up! Mediocre Wolf Common
Okay, okay, I'm just kidding about this card being mediocre.
It's not that good.
Okay, now for the main attractions or whatever!
Okay, so this card looks pretty subpar at a glance, but honestly it makes playing wind/light Kaguya a lot more consistent. You essentially get 8 Wind/Light stones. (this one doesn't work with your Gretels so you must seek your Ramp elsewhere.)
You are you going to be able to play only 1-2 Magic stone of Moon Shade, or a pure stone and a moon shade/Ruler's Memoria (depending on your Regalia count) Making our stone deck much less painful, and allowing a guaranteed turn 1 light for Perceval or turn 1 wind for Elvish Priest/Moonbreeze Elf. Keeping proper Will up for Xeex, Fiethsing or Exceed, and still be able to play our good tempo spells like Dreams of Juliet or Shining Strike if we need to.
Last and the opposite of least!
Let's just real quick make a list of the best things about this Regalia:
- Your J-ruler gains [Flying]
- Your J-ruler gains [Flying]
- Your J-ruler gains [Flying]
The fact that this card even has other abilities is a gift to you from Force of Will R&D and you should be glad it does anything else besides "Your J-ruler gains [Flying].
I might sound like I'm over-hyping this card, but YOUR J-RULER GAINS FLYING!!!!!!!!!!
In all seriousness, this has some cool interactions with resonators you might want to actually return to your hand, like anything with swiftness (to attack a second time with Lancelot) or anything with an [Enter] or Automatic ability that triggers on Entering your field. (Like Blessed Holy Wold, Hera, Goddess of Jealousy, etc)
Spending extra Moon will on an awakening cost OR Judgment or God's Art ability with Kaguya in it's name is kinda neat, but it's not really the sole reason I'd play this card. Functionally it's other abilities are much better in actual game situations, but it would be a mistake to scoff at the ability to reduce the costs of something powerful like Kaguya 3.0's God's Art in this game, and don't be surprised when people try to break Kaguya 2.0 (I'm sorry guys, that's not going to work as well as you want it to, unless of course I'm wrong and it does..)
Well that's all for now! Check back with us for more spoilers in the coming weeks, and watch as we evolve our ever-changing website! Thanks for reading and I hope you had as much fun reading it as I did writing......OH COOKIES!
