Grimmia "Spirit Bomb" - by Guy Connor Lester

I have always thoroughly enjoyed
how powerful this J-Ruler is, and
this current meta is no exception.
I'll start with the list, and then for
those whose curiosities are piqued
by it, you may continue reading:

Intrigued? You should be. I love this deck. As the game has progressed and more cards have been released, this deck has seriously been getting more and more tools.
Grimmia's issues in the past have mostly been solved: The deck used to flop hard when she died. I think that issue is now solved due to Excalibur and Laevateinn being able to grant her Imperishable. Being able to recover for your next turn and Judgement again with your already Swiftness and Target Attacking J-Ruler is really powerful, especially when you're grabbing a Ragnarok for free.
The deck also used to have issues when all of it's Ragnarok were killed, or with Grimmia being killed in response to Ragnarok being fetched, but both of those issues are once again solved by the addition of Regalia -- Excalibur and Deathscythe allow us to instantly +200/+200 our J-Ruler for free in response to their shenanigans, and if all of our Ragnarok are dead, that same buff still allows our J-Ruler to be a threat.
As for card choices, Cheshire and Perceval are self-explanatory. Cheshire allows us to dig through our deck and put any Ragnaroks that find their way into our hand back into our deck for Grimmia to fetch. Perceval allows us to stock up on appropriate Regalia and provides protection for Grimmia.
Whisper From the Abyss is the classic combo -- end of their turn at instant speed: draw six cards, lose 3,000 life > flip Grimmia for free... but it's much better now. We usually are able to have Laevateinn and Excalibur in play when we do this, giving Grimmia built-in Swiftness and Target Attack, and more damage. We then can swing in that same turn at whatever we wish and fetch a Ragnarok onto Grimmia. If we happen to have Deathscythe out as well, not only do we have more damage potential, but our Grimmia is now a bona fide J-Ruler killer.
Whisper is also far more insane now than it used to be-- filling our hand with 0-drop Regalia makes our turns after Whisper so much more explosive. Using extra Excalibur / Laevateinn for Will is sometimes necessary to get the perfect Judgement / Removal combo.
The rest of the deck you'll see is some of the best possible removal for a deck like this. Sign to the Future is a serious all-star in this deck, especially in the current meta. Decks like R/R Fairy's, Knights, and Alice's World love to go wide right now, so you'll be able to trigger it easily, removing problem threats. Cheshire Cats are a known problem for Regalia decks, but Beat of the Phoenix Wings eliminates this problem as well-- removing Cheshire Cats from our way as well as any smaller Resonators. This is huge because now we aren't worried about them blocking-- we can remove their blockers with Sign or Stoning and force the damage through to the intended target-- their face. Usually 2 swings is all we need for easily over 4000 damage.

The Magic Stone lineup is pretty self explanatory.
Make sure you're dropping a regalia from your
starting hand into play before resting for your
first stone-- you want those Ruler's Memoria's
coming in Recovered. Magic Stone of Moon
Shade can peel your life away to make Judgement
easier, and fix your will. Almerius helps Grimmia fly
in and over. 1 Heaven's Rift so we can be sure to
cast Perceval and Whisper of the Abyss, two of our
most important cards.
Sideboard:
You may ask me: "Why don't we just run all the Regalia main if this is a Regalia deck?"
Well, you could try that if you like, but honestly the deck gets worse. Being able to have all the removal we have main in order to force the damage through is very important, so we only play the necessary Regalia.
Artemis Bow comes in over Deathscythe against Reflect/Refrain and Grimm match-ups.
Marybell, the Steel Doll is our choice for killing Deathscythe in the Blazer match-ups. It is the most efficient way of protecting Grimmia from the combo.
Glimpse of Kaguya is a fantastic card that many people overlook -- bring it in against R/R matchups that rely heavily on Refrain and it can really hamper their tempo. Don't forget-- it also cancels God's Arts abilities. This can be great against the popular Valentina 2.0 deck.
The Queen's Butler is there for redundant J-Ruler protection against decks you may see packing Flame of Outer Worlds, or just in the Blazer match-ups if they are going all in on the Deathscythe plan.
All in all, this deck is very strong, and I believe it to be well positioned. Cards like Beat of the Phoenix Wings are very good right now against Grimm / Alice World decks, and Sign to the Future has never been better against decks like Fairies. I hope you all tweak it to your own liking and find great success in your match-ups.
